Louisiana Tech University invites applications and nominations for the position of Department Chair of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences to begin Fall 2026. This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track administrative appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor.

The Chair will provide visionary leadership, manage budgets and resources, oversee curriculum and program assessment, foster faculty and student development, and maintain a reduced teaching load while continuing their research.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated administrative leadership at the department level.

• Experience with budget management and strategic planning.
• Record of teaching, scholarship, and service meriting tenure.
