Job summary

Arcwood Environmental, LLC is seeking a Depack Chemist for our Indianapolis plant. You will assist in coordinating disposal of waste materials, segregate chemicals by DOT hazard class, and prepare documentation for treatment or transport.

Responsibilities include logging activities, handling hazardous materials with proper PPE, and operating facility vehicles. A Bachelor’s degree in science and 4+ years of waste experience are preferred, plus a 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related discipline.
• 40‑Hour HAZWOPER Certification preferred.
• 4+ years of related environmental waste experience required if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist in proper disposal of waste materials for Arcwood customers.
• Maintain logs and documentation for tracking and billing.
• Operate forklifts and vehicles as needed in the facility.
• Ensure safety policies and PPE usage are followed at all times.
