Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist for a contract position in the Denver, Colorado area. You will support academic achievement and emotional well-being by partnering with educators, families, and the school community to promote student success.

Responsibilities include completing psychoeducational evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, providing counseling, and advising on strategies to support learning and social-emotional development.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in schools or youth-centered settings with evaluations and counseling.
• Understanding of educational assessments, special education processes, and legal compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete psychoeducational evaluations including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments.
• Develop and participate in Individualised Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide direct support and interventions to students through counselling and skill-building.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to implement strategies for student learning and social-emotional development.
• Assist in designing prevention and crisis intervention programmes within the school community.
