Job summary

Ascent CFO Solutions is seeking an interim VP of Accounting / Controller for a Denver, CO on-site role. This contract engagement starts immediately and lasts until a permanent VP of Accounting / Controller is in place, reporting to the CFO.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Controller, VP of Accounting, or CFO at a company with $200–500M in revenue.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to explain financials clearly.
• Availability to start the week of October 19.
• On-site work in Denver.

Responsibilities

• Get to know the accounting team, including onshore and offshore members.
• Review the team's work and financial reports before leadership.
• Evaluate accounting processes across NetSuite instances and entity P&Ls; identify gaps and quick wins.
• Support the team wherever needed and join regular CFO/COO/CEO check-ins.
