AZAK seeks a strategic, hands-on Vice President of Finance / CFO to architect the company’s financial future from a lean startup mindset. You will shape corporate strategy, manage capital allocation, and partner with the board while also directing day-to-day finance activities such as procurement setup and vendor payments.

You will lead financial infrastructure, governance, and controls, with experience in government contracting and OTA programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of finance and operations in high-growth startups or hardware/defense tech environments.
• Ability to balance high-level strategic planning with hands-on tactical execution.
• Hands-on builder mindset in lean, fast-moving environments.
• Experience selecting and implementing modern financial and procurement tools (ERPs, bill pay, corporate card and expense platforms).
• Track record of ownership for complex financial operations and funding programs.

Responsabilités

• Partner with CEO to drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
• Navigate defense tech finance including OTA, government grants, compliance, and scaling operations.
• Lead fundraising, investor relations, and due diligence.
