Job summary

LCG Advisors, LLC is seeking an Analyst or Associate for our Specialty Lending Group in Denver, CO. You will perform financial and operational due diligence, prepare detailed reports, and work with lenders and private funds on complex credit structures.

The role emphasizes on-site and remote examinations, portfolio reviews, and collaboration with senior team members to identify risks and insights for clients. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Prior Asset-Based Lending knowledge or experience is a plus.
• Exposure to consumer finance, commercial specialty finance, healthcare, or venture debt structures is preferred but not required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word; data extraction tools a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and genuine curiosity for financial and operational data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and operational due diligence, including on-site or remote examinations, portfolio reviews, and acquisition due diligence for clients.
• Develop Excel-based workpapers to perform scoped procedures for each project.
• Evaluate complex portfolios and credit structures within the defined scope of work.
• Collaborate with senior team members to identify portfolio risks and reconcile financial data.
• Interact with clients via calls, meetings, and email updates in a professional manner.
• Engage with subject company stakeholders to discuss updates and findings for the client reports.
• Prepare comprehensive written reports summarizing findings, trends, and risk factors.
