Job summary

Pan-Am Dental Laboratory in Sandy, UT has an opening for a Removables Technician. You will specialize in acrylic processing and post-processing within the removable department to ensure dentures meet high standards of fit, function and aesthetics.

You will process dentures using heat-cured, cold-cured, and injection-molded acrylics, perform flasking and polishing, and collaborate with the removable team to maintain quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in denture processing, acrylic work, or related dental lab experience.
• Strong knowledge of acrylic materials, flasking, packing and polishing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail assuring good craftsmanship and minimal errors.
• Experience with 3D printed denture workflows is a plus, but not required.
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented with strong accountability and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process full and partial dentures using heat-cured, cold-cured, and injection-molded acrylics.
• Perform flasking, investing, and boil-out procedures.
• Pack and cure dentures while maintaining proper handling techniques.
• Trim, finish, polish dentures to achieve optimal comfort, esthetics, and durability.
• Perform Post-Processing procedures including but not limited to the following.
• Remove and clean processed dentures from molds.
• Fine-tune and adjust occlusion as necessary for proper fit.
• Apply staining, characterizing and polishing.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished product.
• Work closely with removable team to make necessary adjustments as needed.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and processing techniques.
• Assist with training junior technicians when necessary.
