Charleston Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC) seeks a Dentistry Anesthesia Veterinary Technician to join our dentistry team in Charleston, SC. You will provide advanced nursing care and anesthesia support for specialty dentistry and oral surgery, working closely with board-certified specialists and senior technicians.

This role offers weekend constraints aligned with a Monday–Friday day shift, with opportunities to grow specialized skills in dentistry and anesthesia within a collaborative

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology Program.
• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in good standing.
• Strong experience with veterinary anesthesia and monitoring.
• Experience in dentistry and oral surgery preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia support and advanced nursing care for dentistry cases.
• Perform patient assessments and document medical records accurately.
• Administer medications and monitor perioperative care.
• Assist with dental procedures, radiographs, and CT when indicated.
• Manage sterilization, instrument prep, and surgical suites.
• Educate clients on home care, plans, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with specialists to optimize workflows and patient care.
