Job summary

Charleston Veterinary Referral Center in Charleston, SC is hiring a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery team. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with a rotating on-call anesthesia schedule for nights, weekends and holidays.

Compensation ranges from $25–$32 per hour based on licensure and experience. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401k, and tuition reimbursement for LVT/VTS goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of veterinary technician experience, preferably in specialty or emergency medicine.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of basic veterinary medicine and surgical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the Surgery team and patient prep for procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and participate in anesthesia on-call rotation.
• Maintain high standards of client communication and teamwork.
