Job summary

Diamond Dental in Newtown, CT is seeking a skilled General Dentist to join a busy practice. The ideal candidate provides high-quality care, maintains excellent bedside manner, and collaborates with a team of professionals in a modern facility.

You will diagnose and treat comprehensive dental issues, perform cosmetic services, and educate patients while adhering to safety guidelines. On-site work with mentoring and career growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Dentistry is expected.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications are preferred.
• Demonstrated bedside manner and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough exams to assess dental health, gum disease, cavities, and infections.
• Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restorations.
• Perform dental care with X-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic services.
• Consult with other dental specialists when necessary.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and dental appliances.
• Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.

Education

DDS or DMD degree (ADA-accredited)

Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Dentistry

Current state license

CPR/BLS/NPI certifications

Excellent bedside manner

Strong verbal & written communication skills

• Consult with other dental specialists when necessary
• Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and dental appliances
• Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines

Experience or strong interest in learning new dental technology is preferred.

Qualifications

• DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is required
• Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry
• Current state license
• Previous experience in clinical or private practice
• CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
• Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends
• Excellent bedside manner
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
