Job summary

MARK E WEITZMAN DDS in Ventura, CA is seeking a skilled Dentist to join a busy practice. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, high‑quality care in a modern facility and collaborate with a team of caring professionals.

You will perform exams, diagnose conditions, and deliver a full range of procedures, from restorative to cosmetic dentistry. Qualified applicants hold a DDS/DMD, CA license, CPR/BLS/NPI credentials, and strong communication skills; board eligibility is desired.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA‑accredited dental school is required.
• Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry.
• Current state license
• CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
• Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough examinations to determine dental health and evaluate for gum disease, cavities, and infection
• Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restoration
• Perform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic services
• Consult with dental specialists when necessary and educate patients on oral hygiene and dental appliances
• Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines

• Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restoration
• Perform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic dental services

Qualifications

• Previous experience in clinical or private practice
• CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
• Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends
• Excellent bedside manner
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
