Job summary

42 North Dental in Enfield, CT seeks a full-time General Dentist to lead the patient clinical experience from exam to care delivery, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
