Job summary

42North Dental in Portland, ME seeks a Dentist (DMD or DDS) to provide comprehensive restorative and aesthetic dentistry, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education in a modern, patient-centered environment.

You will deliver high-quality care, collaborate with a supportive team, and participate in continuing education. Competitive, production-based compensation offers strong earning potential with flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time) in a Portland-based practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-approved program.
• Active state license to practice dentistry in Maine.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health options and procedures.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Maintain patient records and uphold high ethical standards.
