In this role, you will supervise the daily work of the institution's dental staff and be responsible for all aspects of the clinical dental services provided to the inmate population, including periodic examinations, diagnosing oral diseases, and treating injuries. You will provide basic dental care and perform all dental treatment; assist specialists in the performance of treatment and related duties while on-site; and ensure that adequate security, tool control, and toxic and caustic control are carried out within the dental office. You will also consult with and refer inmate patients to physicians, oral surgeons, and other health care professionals.
