Job summary

42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, is seeking a Dentist to oversee the full patient experience from initial exam to delivery of care with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The practice welcomes a strong flow of new patients and offers a part-time schedule from Labor Day through Memorial Day, including two Saturdays per month from 7AM to 12PM.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and professional ethics.
