Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a part-time General Dentist to join our Hollidaysburg practice. This role covers 2–3 days per week with shifts 8 AM–5 PM or 10 AM–7 PM, offering a daily guarantee or up-to-36% of collections.

The Dentist will manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Competitive benefits available for full-time equivalents.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• HBV vaccination documentation must be provided.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• BLS or CPR certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and treatment needs.
• Educate patients on health options and care plans.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update medical/dental records.
• Review, interpret x‑rays and diagnostics.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive care.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay current with new developments and CE.

Education
