Job summary

Benevis is seeking a dentist with significant hands-on oral surgery experience to join our dental team on a PRN basis in Louisiana. This role focuses on performing third molar and complex extractions with support from a dedicated team, equipment, and patients.

We offer a flexible PRN day, with daily compensation structured as the greater of a guaranteed minimum or a percentage of adjusted production, and provide company-paid malpractice insurance, 401(k), and no lab fees.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental program.
• Significant hands-on oral surgery experience with third molars and complex extractions.
• Active dental license in the state of practice, or eligibility for licensure.
• Current BLS, ACLS, DEA and applicable state credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform third molar extractions, including impacted cases.
• Complete surgical and complex extractions across the dentition as clinically appropriate.
• Work efficiently with trained clinical staff in a dental office environment.
• Uphold compliant, patient-centered oral surgery care standards.

Dentist (Oral Surgery) responsibilities include:

• Perform third molar extractions, including impacted cases
• Complete surgical and complex extractions across the dentition as clinically appropriate
• Work efficiently within our dental office environment with trained clinical staff
• Uphold compliant, patient-centered oral surgery care standards

Qualifications:

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental program
• Demonstrated advanced oral surgery experience as a general dentist - significant hands-on volume performing complex and surgical extractions
• Active dental license in the state of practice, or eligibility for licensure
• Current BLS, ACLS, DEA, and applicable state credentials
• Compassion and a strong desire to provide oral surgery care to underserved dental patients
