Position Details

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide medical services as a Dentist to maintain the health of employees and client personnel.
  2. Educate on dental care practices including diet, brushing, flossing, and fluoride use.
  3. Perform dental procedures such as cavity fillings, extractions, x-ray examinations, and teeth straightening.
  4. Conduct limited gum and supporting bone surgeries for gum disease.
  5. Administer anesthetics and prescribe medications.
  6. In some settings, stabilize patients and coordinate evacuations.
  7. Document all care provided and follow-up actions.
  8. Uphold patient dignity and adhere to the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights.
  9. Participate in meetings and task forces to improve quality, communicate issues, and stay updated on policies and developments.
  10. Follow infection control policies, medication procedures, and controlled substance regulations to ensure safety.
  11. Record patient care in medical records accurately.
  12. Manage nursing supplies inventory and ensure proper storage and usage of equipment and supplies.
  13. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy protocols.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Dental School.
  • Active and unrestricted Dental License, with the ability to be credentialed by Acuity policy.
  • At least 3 years of recent experience as a Dentist.
  • Recent clinical experience in patient care within the past year.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and MS Office.
  • Ability to work under stress and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Pass a security background check and drug screening.
  • Current certifications in all required areas.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
  • Work is primarily indoors in an office environment.
  • Sitting and standing for extended periods.
