***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.***

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide medical services at the scope and level of a Dentist to preserve the health of employees and client personnel.
  2. Offer instruction on diet, brushing, flossing, the use of fluorides, and other dental care aspects.
  3. Remove tooth decay, fill cavities, examine x-rays, straighten teeth, perform extractions, and repair fractured teeth.
  4. Perform limited corrective surgery on gums and supporting bones to treat gum diseases.
  5. Administer anesthetics and prescribe antibiotics and other medications.
  6. Some settings may require stabilization of the patient and coordination of evacuation.
  7. Document care delivered and follow-up care required.
  8. Maintain patient dignity and adhere to the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights.
  9. Participate in meetings and task forces to improve quality, communicate issues, obtain approvals, and stay updated on new developments and policies.
  10. Follow infection-control policies, medication procedures, and controlled substance regulations to protect patients and staff.
  11. Chart patient care services accurately in patient and department records.
  12. Maintain inventory of nursing supplies and ensure proper storage and usage.
  13. Record and maintain patient information in accordance with protocols and privacy laws.
  14. Ensure confidentiality and proper procedures for all equipment and supplies.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Dental School.
  • Active, unrestricted Dental License with no pending adverse actions; able to be credentialed by Acuity.
  • Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Dentist.
  • Recent clinical experience (at least 6 months in the past year) for all healthcare providers and support staff.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, organized, and communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer use and MS Office required.
  • Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
  • Favorable security background check and drug screening.
  • Current certifications in all required areas.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, communication).
  • Adherence to safety policies, participation in safety initiatives, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
  • Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment.
  • Sitting and standing for extended periods may be required.
