***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in either the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required.***

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide medical services at the scope and level of a Dentist to preserve the health of employees and client personnel.
  2. Educate patients on diet, brushing, flossing, fluoride use, and other dental care aspects.
  3. Remove tooth decay, fill cavities, examine x-rays, straighten teeth, perform extractions, and repair fractured teeth.
  4. Perform limited corrective surgery on gums and supporting bones to treat gum diseases.
  5. Administer anesthetics and prescribe antibiotics and other medications.
  6. In some settings, stabilize patients and coordinate their evacuation.
  7. Document care delivered and follow-up care in patient records.
  8. Maintain patient dignity and observe the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights.
  9. Participate in meetings and task forces to improve quality, communicate issues, and stay updated on new developments, policies, and efforts.
  10. Follow infection-control policies, medication procedures, and controlled substance regulations to protect patients and staff.
  11. Chart patient care services accurately in patient and department records.
  12. Manage nursing supplies inventory and ensure equipment and supplies are used properly.
  13. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy and infection control protocols.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree from an accredited Dental School.
  • Active, unrestricted Dental License with no pending adverse actions.
  • At least 3 years recent experience as a Dentist.
  • Recent clinical experience in patient care within the last year.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
  • Ability to work under stress and adapt to changes.
  • Favorable security background check and drug screening.
  • Current certifications in all required areas.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
  • Work primarily performed in an interior/office environment.
  • Sitting and standing for prolonged periods.
