Job summary

42 North Dental, a dentist-led practice, seeks a Dentist to lead the full patient journey from exam to treatment. The practice features a strong patient flow and a culture of education and collaboration with fellow Doctors.

You will provide comprehensive dental care including in-house specialties like periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, while upholding the highest standards of care and ethics. This role emphasizes growth and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
