Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a Dentist to promote oral health, diagnose conditions, and educate patients on treatment options. The role involves creating and reviewing treatment plans, maintaining records, interpreting X-rays, and performing restorative and preventive care in a high-quality practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current active state dental license to practice.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance in good standing.
• BLS or CPR certification current and valid.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
