Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a licensed dentist to join our team in the Boston area. You will promote oral health, diagnose conditions, educate patients, and create comprehensive treatment plans to maintain and restore health.

The role involves interpreting x-rays, performing restorative and preventive care, and surgical procedures as needed. We value continuing education and a collaborative network of doctors, with a focus on high-quality ethical care and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Stay updated on new developments and best practices through continuing education.
