Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Dentist for Lawrence Correctional Center in Sumner, IL. The role provides comprehensive dental care for inmates, including exams, extractions, restorations, prosthetics, prophylaxis, fluoride, and endodontics.

The position pays $115+ per hour, with no nights, holidays, or weekends, and offers four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts. Requires IL dental license and ability to clear NPDB/background checks; CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Illinois Dental license is required.
• Must pass NPDB and background check and drug test.
• CPR certification required or can be obtained upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental treatments to inmates in custody.
• Perform recalls, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
• Maintain professional standards of care and patient safety.

Part-time dentist opportunity in Illinois - practice with no office overhead or billing/insurance pressures.

We are currently seeking a part-time Dentist to join our team at Lawrence Correctional Center located in Sumner, IL, under 55 miles from Terre Haute, IN.

The Dentist provides comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of individuals in custody including routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.

Hourly rate $115 or more based upon years of experience.

Qualifications

• Illinois Dental license
• Must be able to clear an NPDB, criminal background check and drug test
• CPR certified or able to become certified upon employment

Available Shift

• Weekdays
