Job summary

42 North Dental in Massachusetts seeks a licensed Dentist to promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, and create comprehensive treatment plans that maintain or restore oral health.

You will review records, interpret x-rays, provide restorative and preventive care, and collaborate with a network of doctors. This established practice welcomes a steady patient flow and offers education through work, mentorship, and a competitive annual rate of 50,000 to 125,000 USD.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental program accredited by ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
