Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a licensed dentist to join a patient-focused practice in Massachusetts. The role involves promoting oral health, diagnosing conditions, educating patients, and creating comprehensive treatment plans to preserve and restore oral health.

The position offers opportunities for continued education, mentorship, and collaboration within an established network of doctors, with a strong flow of new patients each month and a commitment to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.

Education
