Job summary

42 North Dental in Belmont, MA is seeking a licensed Dentist to lead the patient experience from the initial exam through treatment delivery, with in-office services in periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, educate patients on options, create treatment plans, and maintain thorough medical and dental records, all within a team that values continuing education, mentorship, and the highest standards of care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
