Job summary

42 North Dental, founded near Boston, MA, seeks a Dentist to uphold the highest standards of care. You will promote oral health, diagnose disease, educate patients, create and review treatment plans, update records, interpret x-rays, and deliver restorative and preventive care with ethics and professionalism.

Requirements include a DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program, current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high quality standard of care and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments via continuing education
