Job summary
42North Dental in Rhode Island is seeking a licensed Dentist to join our established practice with a strong patient flow and comprehensive in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.
You will manage the full patient experience from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, maintain accurate medical and dental records, review X-rays, and uphold the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA
- Current state license to practice dentistry
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
- Proof of malpractice insurance
- Current BLS or CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
- Review treatment plan options with patients
- Review and update patients' medical and dental records
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
- Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics
