Job summary
42 North Dental in Rhode Island seeks a DDS/DMD licensed Dentist to join our established practice delivering comprehensive dental care. You will diagnose, plan treatments, and provide restorative and preventive care across in-office specialties with mentorship and ongoing education.
The position offers a supportive team, access to continuing education, and a patient-focused environment prioritizing quality care and ethics.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
- Review treatment plan options with patients.
- Review and update patients’ medical and dental records.
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
