Qualifications

  • Examine patients using x-rays and other diagnostic tools.
  • Plan examination and treatment programs for patients.

Job Description

A Chamberburg-based client is seeking an experienced and collaborative Dentist to provide dental care to all ages in a community health center. The ideal candidate values equitable and evidence-based care for all patients. The team includes five Dentists, six Dental Hygienists, Expanded Function Dental Assistants, Dental Assistants, and a fully staffed front office.

Required Qualifications
  • Active PA Dental License
  • Board certified or eligible
  • Active DEA certification
  • Dental Degree (D.D.S. or D.M.D.) from an accredited dental school
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures.
  • Examine patients using x-rays, mirrors, explorers, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Clean, fill, extract, and replace teeth using rotary and hand instruments, dental appliances, medications, and surgical tools.
  • Design and build crowns, bridges, and other oral structures.
  • Plan examination and treatment programs for patients.
  • Participate in management, staff, board, and other meetings and retreats as appropriate.
  • Ensure safety and security of the Dental Department according to OSHA requirements.
