Job summary

Saratoga Medical is hiring a Dentist in Vernon, TX for a full-time role with a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, excluding Federal holidays. The dentist will provide routine and non-routine dental care at Vernon State Hospital and work under the supervision of the Medical Director.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation of services and patient care, adherence to Joint Commission, CMS, Vernon State Hospital and HHSC standards, and completing onboarding and credentialing procedures.

Qualifications

• Provide routine and non-routine dental services to patients at Vernon State Hospital.
• Perform dental care in accordance with applicable professional standards and facility requirements.
• Work under the supervision of the Medical Director.
• Document all dental services and patient care activities accurately and promptly.
• Follow Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Vernon State Hospital (VSH), and HHSC standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with applicable patient safety, infection prevention, and clinical documentation requirements.
• Complete all required onboarding, training, credentialing, and facility compliance procedures.
