Benevis is seeking 2027 dental student graduates for Associate Dentist roles across Maryland, including Baltimore, Brooklyn Park, District Heights, Hagerstown, Salisbury and Takoma Park. The position provides growth through mentoring, a team-focused culture, and the chance to care for children and adults while contributing to communities.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current, valid license to practice dentistry or eligibility.
• CPR and DEA certifications as required.
• Nitrous Oxide certification (where applicable).
• Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental services with team support.
• Operate using DentaPro software and digital imaging.
• Maintain OSHA/HIPAA training and compliance.
• Coordinate patient flow with hygienists and assistants.
• Serve patients primarily ages 3-21 with up to 30% adults (location-dependent).

This position is only intended for those students graduating in May/June 2027. Any applicants who have already received their degree prior to May 2027 may apply directly to any of our open roles. Responsibilities

Associate Dentists are responsible for providing dental services to patients with the support of their team. Our practice has:

• DentaPro software
• Digital x-ray and Panorex units
• Fiber-optic handpieces
• Yearly OSHA and HIPPA and Emergency Management training
• Ratio of 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, 2 dental assistants per provider
• Patient Base: primarily ages 3-21 and up to 30% adult population (depending upon location)
• Office flow: average 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients
• State insurance plans, PPO and out-of-network payor mix

Qualifications

We expect you to have:

• DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
• Current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure
• Other certifications as required - CPR, DEA, etc.
• Nitrous Oxide certification (only LA, MS, DC, TX, MA)
• Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults

Work is performed in a professional office, clinical, or support environment, depending on the role and business needs. Team members may be required to work extended or alternate hours during peak periods or to support operational requirements. Scheduled hours and work location may vary based on business needs.
