Job summary

Primary Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Dentist in Des Moines, IA to provide comprehensive and emergency oral care as part of the Patient Care Team. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, adherence to iCare values, and leadership in the oral health area.

You will participate in training programs, education, and community outreach while delivering high-quality dental services in a community-focused health center.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from an approved dental school.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the state of Iowa.
• Current registration with the DEA/CSA.
• BLS for Health Care Providers Certification.
• Must obtain Mandatory Reporter Training within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan treatments for oral-related diseases.
• Deliver comprehensive and emergency oral care.
• Complete dental X-rays per regulations.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and care.
• Advise medical staff on oral-related conditions.
• Provide after-hours call coverage and follow-up.
• Assist in development of clinical protocols and supervise students.
• Support community outreach and participate in meetings.
