Qualifications

• Licensed dentist with Mississippi license and unrestricted privileges under Controlled Substances status.
• At least 3 years of experience providing dental care in a community health or related setting.
• DDS or DMD from an accredited School of Dentistry.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat dental conditions for SeMRHI patients while developing documented management plans.
• Provide non-surgical periodontal treatment, root canal therapy, and crowns for patients under 18 years of age.
• Supervise dental assistants, maintain problem-oriented medical records, verify timecards, and complete IT/security trainings as required.

Role Overview

Provide comprehensive general dental care and lead clinic operations in Hattiesburg, MS.

• Provide Quality Community Dental Care Deliver preventive and restorative dental treatments to patients of all ages within a dedicated community health setting.
• Collaborative Clinical Leadership Supervise dental assistants, coordinate with local specialists and community resources, and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
• Professional and Focused Environment Maintain comprehensive electronic medical records, uphold strict healthcare standards, and actively participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Pay

• $155,000 - $198,000 per year

Pay is based on experience and administrative standards.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday to Friday

Administrative hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Requirements

• License & Certification: Licensed dentist
• Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dentist with 3+ years of practice

Education: Graduate from an approved School of Dentistry with a doctoral degree (DDS or DMD).

Licensure: Valid Mississippi dental license with unrestricted privileges under Controlled Substances status.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience providing dental care in a community health or related setting.

Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.

Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong analytical and reasoning capabilities in dental practice.
