Job summary

Community Dental Care in Rochester, MN is seeking a part-time dentist for Fridays to join our clinical team. You will provide comprehensive dental care and collaborate with staff in a patient-centered, culturally sensitive environment.

Requirements include MN Board of Dentistry licensure and CPR/AED certification; experience with diverse communities preferred. Fridays shifts from 7:50am to 2:00pm in our Rochester clinic.

Qualifications

• Licensed with the MN Board of Dentistry.
• CPR/AED Certification.
• Experience working with culturally diverse communities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients.
• Provide a patient-centered approach and culturally competent care.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Conduct examinations of teeth and surrounding tissue using diagnostic tools and medical and dental histories.
• Provide patient education on proper oral healthcare and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient electronic records.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal and clinic guidelines and protocols.

General Dentist Procedures

• General Dentistry: Crowns (including custom crowns, implant crowns, and stainless-steel crowns), bridges, direct restorations (amalgam and composite)
• Endodontics: anterior, premolar, and some molar
• Oral surgery: extractions, including some impacted thirds molars, alveoloplasty
• Pediatrics: stainless steel crowns, extractions, restorations, pulpotomies, space maintainers
• Prosthodontics: Complete and partial removable dentures in addition to fixed pros

• Maintain compliance with state, federal and clinic guidelines and protocols

Qualifications

• Licensed with the MN Board of Dentistry
• CPR/AED Certificate
• Experience working with culturally diverse communities preferred

Rochester Clinic Hours

• Friday: 7:50am-2pm
• *Flexibility to choose number of shifts per month
