42North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a general dentist to provide comprehensive care from exam to treatment delivery. You will collaborate with in‑office specialists to develop complete treatment plans and deliver high‑quality care.

The role supports part‑time or full‑time schedules, with opportunities for continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network and exclusive CE events. A strong focus on patient wellbeing and professional growth is emphasized.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, update and maintain patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry
