Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a Dentist to lead the patient care experience from initial exam through delivery of care, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics. This full-time role offers a competitive annual rate and comprehensive benefits in a supportive doctor network.

Based in Merrill, Michigan, you will diagnose, educate patients, create treatment plans, review options with patients and maintain accurate medical and dental records.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain patient medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
