Job summary

42North Dental in Michigan is seeking a Dentist to deliver comprehensive patient care from exam to treatment planning and delivery. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a focus on high standards of ethics and professionalism.

You will promote oral health, create and review treatment options with patients, maintain records, and stay current with new technologies and continuing education.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from ADA CODA accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• BLS or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education
