Job summary

42 North Dental in Michigan is seeking a licensed dentist to lead the full patient care experience, from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, review treatment options, and maintain medical and dental records while upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dental license is required to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
