Gentle Dental in Tucson, AZ is seeking a General Dentist with a passion for endodontics to dedicate the majority of practice to root canal therapy while practicing within the scope of general dentistry. You will work alongside a collaborative, multi-specialty team with an established patient base and strong internal referrals, supported by modern technology for endodontic diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Active Arizona dental license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
• Current DEA registration, CPR certification, and NPI.
• Demonstrated experience and confidence performing endodontic procedures.

• Excellent communication and treatment planning skills.

Scope of Practice

This position is designed for General Dentists who enjoy providing endodontic care within the scope permitted by Arizona law.

Procedures May Include

• Root canal therapy on anterior teeth
• Root canal therapy on premolars
• Molar root canal therapy
• Endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning
• Emergency endodontic treatment
• Pulpotomies and pulpectomies
• Management of endodontic emergencies and dental pain
• Core buildups following endodontic treatment
• Collaboration with specialists for complex retreatments, apicoectomies, or other cases requiring specialty care

Patient scheduling will be structured to maximize efficiency while allowing sufficient clinical time for high-quality endodontic treatment.

NHSC Loan Repayment Eligible: This practice is an approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site, making eligible providers qualified to receive up to $150,000 in student loan repayment, depending on program eligibility and service commitment.
