Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a Dentist to provide comprehensive care from exams to treatment planning and delivery. You will lead a strong patient flow and collaborate with a network of physicians to deliver excellent care in a welcoming practice.

The position offers opportunities to work across in-office specialties, maintain high ethical standards, and pursue ongoing education within a supportive Massachusetts-based team.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA
