Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join our established practice in our Boston-area network. You will provide comprehensive dental care from exams and treatment planning to delivery of services, including in‑office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics as needed.

You will lead patient education, develop and discuss treatment options, and ensure high-quality records and ethical care while benefiting from exclusive continuing education and a supportive mentorship network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients' oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited program)

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination documented

Malpractice insurance proof

BLS or CPR certification
