Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Dentist to join our team at Dixon Correctional Center in Dixon, IL. You will provide comprehensive dental care including exams, extractions, restorations, prosthetics, prophylaxis, fluoride, and endodontic treatments to inmates in custody.

The position offers four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts with no nights, holidays, or weekends, along with competitive compensation and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Illinois Dental license is required.
• Must be able to clear criminal background check and drug screen.
• CPR certification is required or must be able to obtain it upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to inmates including routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
• Deliver dental care within a correctional setting, adhering to safety and security protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure high standards of infection control and patient communication.
