A community-focused healthcare organization in San Antonio is seeking a Dentist to provide quality dental care and oversee dental assistants. The role involves developing treatment plans, managing patient records, and participating in community education programs. Candidates need a DDS or DMD, with at least three years experience in family dentistry. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Education/Experience:
Graduate of an accredited School of Dentistry with DDS or DMD degree; and a minimum of three years experience in family dentistry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to use original or innovative techniques or styles to provide effective communication on complex topics to management. Fluent in English; Spanish bilingual preferred.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply principles of logic or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
Certificates and Licenses:
Currently licensed in the State of Texas. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and unrestricted Texas Department of Public Safety(DPS) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Computer Skills:
Demonstrate working knowledge of the Internet, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel applications.
Other:
Ability to drive and have access to a car; maintain valid driver's license and auto liability insurance.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is exposed to a dental office environment having direct contact with patients and clients. Position necessitates bending, stooping, twisting, turning, walking, climbing step stools, sitting and standing for periods of time. Must be able to lift and maneuver 25 pounds.
