This position is located at various Indian Health Service Hospitals or Clinics under the Navajo Area Office. The primary purpose is to function as a Staff Dentist, performing a full range of professional dental duties related to the treatment of common dental diseases and health problems, including corrective, preventive, restorative, and rehabilitative measures.
Applicants must have a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA or CODA approved school, pass the NBDE, and hold a valid, unrestricted dental license. Additional experience and education requirements apply for GS-12 level, including completion of a 2-year residency or equivalent experience.
Transcripts or course lists are encouraged. Only degrees from accredited schools are accepted. Foreign education requires a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency.
