Job summary

Lumina HealthCare is seeking a Dentist (DDS or DMD) to join our progressive medical practice in the Bakersfield, CA area. This role is Full or Part-Time (1-5 days/week) and involves rounds at multiple facilities within a designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dentistry at bedside in post-acute care setting as well as chairside in adult day habilitation setting.
• Round daily at multiple facilities
• Conduct routine, preventative dental examinations
• Perform routine extractions and fillings
• Perform denture fabrications, relines, and repairs
• Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
• Build rapport with patients, families, facility staff, and company staff
• Provide excellent chairside communication to enhance the patient experience

Duties

• Weekday commitment: No call, evenings, or weekends
• Deliver dentistry at the bedside in post-acute care setting as well as chairside in the adult day habilitation setting.
• Round daily at multiple facilities

Responsibilities

• Perform denture fabrications, relines, and repairs

• Ability to build a good rapport with patients, patient's families, facility staff, and company staff
