Qualifications

• Unrestricted dental license in MA
• Valid CPR – BLS for healthcare provider
• MA DEA and controlled substances numbers current
• Knowledge of primary dental care in outpatient settings
• Ability to work with diverse health professionals to maximize productivity

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on oral healthcare and prevention.
• Complete comprehensive dental exams and diagnose/treat diseases of teeth and gums.
• Provide preventive, restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, pediatric, and oral surgery treatments as needed.
• Assess treatment options and discuss plans with patients.
• Maintain accurate dental records and participate in quality improvement projects.
• Precept dental students and residents; assist in staff training and supervision.
• Stay current with new developments in dentistry and public health.
• Recruit and assist in management of auxiliary dental staff.
