Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to manage the full patient experience from exam through care delivery at our Boston-area practice. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. We offer extensive CE, mentorship, and a pathway to equity.

The role emphasizes high-quality care, ethics, and ongoing professional development within a supportive network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Hepatitis B vaccination
