Job summary

Southside is seeking a Dentist to provide direct patient care in Atlanta, GA, reporting to the Lead Dentist and, when needed, handling administrative duties. You will perform exams, interpret dental X-rays, fillings, and extractions, while guiding staff and ensuring quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a DDS or DMD and a Georgia license, demonstrates strong patient empathy, and can supervise assistants and preserve accurate electronic dental records.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree required.
• Current Georgia dental license required.
• Ability to supervise and lead clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including examinations, interpreting dental X-rays, fillings, and extractions.
• Regularly consult with the Lead Dentist to plan, evaluate, and implement dental care and standards of practice.
• Supervise Assistants in scheduling patients and collecting fees.
• Participates in quality assurance committees and reviews EDRs, therapeutics, and peer reviews as needed.
• Ensures accuracy and integrity of each patient’s EDR and reviews entries for accuracy.
